Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Under the radar layoffs?

Apparently all of the Bay Area support staff were laid off, with the option of hiring onto a subcontract company. So maybe a classical layoff has not happened, but a technical layoff has occurred under the WARN radar...

Found this in another thread, can anybody confirm this?

So much hysteria. If you get laid off go find a new job. Thankfully there is much opportunity due to the strong economy Obama created. There is still time to change companies before Trump ruins everything. Most likely I will go to SV or Austin if I get a GTFO package (LOL...)

Relax and stay focused on your work. You never know today may be the day of an exciting new discovery!

Definitely the case in San Diego. Now there’s no more coffee after 9am. They have no motivation to work at all and looks like their hours were cut back as well

By support staff if we qualify as Corporate support staff like those wh refill water, make coffee, deliver mail and packages then yes this is confirmed. All have either been laid off or signed onto the Compass contractor for this support. This includes all non-San Diego support staff...
