Severance pay

Any info on how much severance will be and when the transitional assistance lump sum can be expected?

Can anyone tell me how your severance was taxed bc what I was told I was getting compared to what I got it's a $2500 difference.

Any update? How long did it take after your term date to receive your severance? Was it a deposit or a mailed check?

The number of weeks per year and what the "max" is depends on your labor grade. 2 weeks per year for upper and 1 week per year for lower level. Also max of 12 and 8 if l remember right. It is in employee handbook.

I was let go on 09/14. They told us our severance info will arrive in the mail within 2 weeks. I gave no idea how much it's going to be. I was there 11 years.

The lump sum payment differs. I was told that the severance pay is 2 weeks per year... but I was let go today and that was not what I was given. It's pretty disheartening actually...
