I heard the layoffs were actually motivated by an anti-southerner push from corporate. They want to move most of the operations to more northern states. First they come for the statues of confederate soldiers; next thing its our jobs! L3 has really lost its way since the democrats started running it. I even think they are going to merge all the bathrooms together and make everyone use them. We need to write the supreme court and send these liars to jail. Things like this didn't happen under Bush. if you go on short term disability Hr shouldn't be able to lay you off while on leave, if you file a ethics charg,e its harder to get rid of you, go on workers compensation it's hard to get rid of you, if you file a eeoc, wage hour dol, etc charge it's hard to get rid of you, if yu go on fmla HR can not get rid of you while on leave or get a union, the choices are there adn some do this to miss a layoff, but it takes having a medical condition or get hurt or file a true complaint. I guess you could just leave it to luck and a supervisor tellin you your safe, getin it in wirting, darn tehy may be next...

omg, just heard they got rid of the only test guy in waco manufacturing. That's not good.
Waco has outsourced so much of our MFG parts that a handful is all it will take to do the quick response parts. Believe it, they were the first ones to go right after 8 this morning. Every manager and supervisor was sitting in HR waiting for their lists at 8 am sharp. It started shortly thereafter.
Believe it. 90% MFG in Waco are gone. Other dept's getting hit also.
