Next positions to be axed will be the rec teams, If I had to guess I'd say 1st of Jan before the 4th qtr ends. I also believe that the PTC position will be removed as the c company is investing heavily in payroll software that the APM manager can do and this new software doesn't most of all the hiring of new associates with the exception of onboarding that the AMP/ Merbership manager can do.

now that the member does not have to show a membership card,, surely door greeters will be next. they are the lowest paid
membership marketing and the mgr next. recv after holidays and ptc last. just to make sure we are all keyed out or relocated correctly.
You are so right, and yes even GM is aware of this. Home office at this point threats GM's about cutting hours and still getting job done. They are walking on eggshells if they don't meet their numbers. Who are we kidding, we are hurting are member service. People at home office should be forced to work an 8 hour shift overnight stocking and receiving. Then a different deparment every week after that. This includes filling in as a GM. Let's all challenge our CEO to be included. Wishful thinking, huh?
Not fair! This company has screwed it's most loyal and dedicated associates. How many times did a lot of us work off the clock to complete task, because they were cutting hours. I bet I wasn't the only one. All this to get treated like this. I am very hurt by their actions. I gave this company my heart, sweat and tears. Everyone stay strong and just pray for everyone affected by these selfish decisions. Best of luck to everyone.
What happens to the Sam's share? Not fair to axe someone that did nothing wrong right before they are to handout bonuses. Especially if they don't have years in service. We lose our jobs and what we worked so hard for to be sh-- on.
I am an accounting team lead and we just were told today our job is being eliminated
