QC is specialist in doing things underground and punish people who shared wrongdoing and layoffs, be aware and good luck.

Yes more stable by no benefits, no stocks, no 401, fuc QC this is against all the employees.
actually the support people who were laid off were outsourced and most got job back with compass. Is actually good for them as compass supports other local big companies and they can rotate to other companies if work slows down at Q. Is probably more job stability in the long run if Q financial troubles continue.
Lets face it. Qualcomm is a sweatshop in the U.S. trump should have this company evauluated.
HR Asxhole, you cannot stop people talking about this, my friends in SD and Santa Clara got layoff, also bunch of people from the cleaning, admin and maintenance in SD.

The layoff is a rumor started by mean people. Stop reading this blog and go back to work and live happy life. THERE IS NO LAYOFF. ALL TALK OF LAYOFF IS RUMOR AND IS NOT TRUE.
It's interesting but I was the only white male in my new hire orientation several years ago....I then remembered there were no heterosexual white males in the group so there may be some evidence to support bias in hiring.
Yes it is racism since Indians hire only Indians, I have witnessed this in multiple teams, it starts in the candidate pool where villagers are identified, I always wondered why not a single local graduate student was never given a chance, and the hiring corruption is supported by the higher ranks and HR clowns..
Dude everybody keeps talking about visas for Indians....fact is they are very few and for very specialized skills. QC needs to have a global workforce proportionate to markets and competitors. This logical and should not be all that of surprise. The anti-immigration rants here are racist. I would hope QC would seek to have the best and brightest regardless of country of origin.
this is not perosnal. from what I know the objective is to have 1/3 (one third) of people in high cost country like US (San Diego and bay area) and 2/3 (two third) people in low cost country like India. This is not the secret. Is basic math. Most likely when people leave the San Diego they will be replaced in India (BDC). This is natural for global company. I would go back but there is too many snake.
