Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Anyone who does any type of work and interfaces with different groups knows ppl are missing and are being fired.

Anyone who is saying that there arent any layoffs is either from HR or are too busy resting and vesting all day and dont do any type of of work. I would recommend you actually do some work.

Texas has become very expensive now. Austin has become almost as expensive as San Diego. I think someplace like Detroit would be better. You can actually buy a nice house for about $5 thousand or even less. Plus Detroit is very progressive for minorities.

This thread confirms the level of mental illness and poorly educated at Qualcomm. The company would be well served to layoff everyone who does not have at least a masters degree. This will solve may problems.

Funny how @qon keeps replying to himself here to go on about how great Texas is. You can tell from the same recurring grammatical mistakes. LOL. What an idiot!

I just google this.... The Texas offers very large reduced tax to bring business to The Texas. This is very good idea and could bring many money saving for Q.

I think Toyota and some other big companies have moved headquarters there recently. There must be savings lots of money although there are probably a bunch of wacko christian white supremes.

A lot of the older local people have been quiet forced out so H1b's can replace them.

Q intends to and has been working to move most of the work to India and China.

I like Texas also. It makes the most sense but unlikely to happen. Although I think that Modof dude is from Texas so who knows what could happen.

Cannot move as the girls live at La Jolla and refuse to drive their Ferraris longer than 3 miles.

The company needs to save money. I would suggest moving the company to Austin Texas to save the money. Is much less money and not bad location. I would gladly move to Austin Texas to help save money. Is much cleaner than San Diego and the people is very much friendly to all people.
