Oracle will treat you younger people well for a while, until you're making too much. Then when you have kids, wife and house, dump you. So goes the circle jerk that is Oracle, perhaps you can have the experience of being laid off over the phone, if you're able to dial in. LOL

No surprise, it's been more than a couple of years for many of the guys and the vesting is up for renewal, along with a declining stock only means a rolling snowball for those who didn't adapt to Oracle's culture yet and still think they are at Google or Amazon. Oracle's leadership knows this and planned accordingly, fresh blood infusion underway as the unfit return to the previous employers on bigger $, win-win.

Yes. Oracle cannot match Amazon offers and their signon bonuses. Amazon stealing people in Seattle big time ! Lot of Nimbula people are already out.
I guess they stayed just long enough to get paid on their very large signing and retention bonuses.
