As you may have noticed, oracle is not to keen on announcing or making it easier for anybody to find out about its ongoing layoffs. There are few WARN notices but oracle is very careful to lay people off in such a manner to trigger very few of those and even then only as a last resort. The best info is on this site, in past threads. Also talk to current and former oracle employees.
Where can I find more information about the unofficial number of layoffs reported? How is the data collected, by WARN notices or in another way?

Seriously, I've been working non stop, other than the odd vacation, since I got my undergraduate degree. I've been thinking about a change for some time now, either finally saying yes to one of the firms knocking on my door, or, starting my own self-managed gig. A package might be nice.
