Has anyone know about severance for Accounting Team Lead? I was told my job was eliminated but no package was offered at that time. I am a 28 year Associate. Also heard it would not be offered till December 1st. We all have major decisions to make. We need to know what the package is offering.,

The way they figure the amount of hrs per week your years will be multiplied against is by averaging the last 12 active weeks of work prior to the severance. The policy states this.
go to the wire and pull up the policy. don’t know what this 12 weeks is about. i think it was posted jan 2017.

An average of the last 12 weeks is how your weekly is computed. And it's taxed heavily. 25 % federal, 7.5% fica and whatever percent you pay in state taxes, if applicable. Plus be prepared. Not paid out immediately. Can take up to 8 weeks to receive severance payout.
It's been talked about many times. Go on the wire under severance. Your gm should have explained but being 28 yr you should be able to research for yourself. Basically your weekly x how many full calendar yrs you been there minus taxes.
