Thank you, 22. Yes, I agree coaches are in the same boat as far as not being informed about much, so I can definitely see your point that some will react differently than others with all this uncertainty.

No specifics whatsoever were shared with what roles will be impacted.
But being in a similar role as your coach, I think most just don’t know how to respond to all of this. There has been very little direction or support for them, so I can honestly say to try to cut them a break (as much as you can) it seems as though some may be either more experienced in this type of situation or others may have just disconnected that this is something really happening and affecting everyone in HAH.
I choose to lead my team as this: yes, we have a job to do but the human side of me also respects these professionals need security and honesty.
Even though I don’t have all the answers or may not have privy to this round of layoffs, I think it would be counter productive to not have open dialog to make sure we do prepare for worse case scenario. With this being said, I’m not an emotional monger or fear monger Buy I do care for my folks and my fellow HAH employees- so I’d rather them be mentally and financially prepared vs. just doing their job and “prentending” that everything is ok, when it’s really not...
I really hate what these layoffs have done to various depts of HAH- it’s divided. Also, within my department there is just so much negative tension- how can I have a fake conversation with my team? No way.
Hopefully I’ll hear something soon, but if not try to keep positive and be understanding with eachother, this s---s for everyone!

Coach 22 or 100, there were a cpl of posters on here that say their coaches implied that they are "safe" as phc's. My coach seems to be reacting just the opposite- although I can't help but wonder if our coach just uses the idea of layoffs as a way to increase metrics with panic.
Any validity to the safety the others are speaking of? Or would it seem the coaches are just trying to get them refocused on work?
Coach 22, thank you for responding. Do you have any insider knowledge whether the HCM RNs will be affected in this next layoff?
Coach22 here- no new updates. This upcoming round is already different than the priors. Just like 100 stated there will be q4 layoffs.
Humana will have an official number of retiree buyouts by the middle of Oct. so I’m assuming I’ll know more around that time.

I dont know coach 100 or 22 but it was coach 22 that gave the most accurate information to the date of the last layoff but at this point we will appreciate any new information from any of the coaches.
Agreed, below poster. It is silly when people come on here for info, then denounce others who actually provide it. Makes no sense.

I don't know if 100 is a coach or not, but based on fact that everything they predicted has come to fruition, Im thinking higher than a coach.
100 said another round would occur in q4. Then we learned at the hah town hall, this was correct. More to come.
100 told us about q3 round and some folks responded with skepticism and had to eat their words.
