Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

All it takes is one judge

All it takes is one Judge, and not in Northwest Arkansas to determine there is a case for Class Action Status to be heard. Then it's up to the Jury. I don't really care if the Lawyers get rich. It's not about the money for the people who sign the class action petition to be heard. It's about showing Walmart that they are not above the law. And to let the Executives know that were disgusted by watching them stand behind the Culture meeting after meeting like it ever meant anything to them.

Had to bump this, because this is what it's all about. Walmart needs a good schooling, and the sooner it happens, the better. OP is @Pp0cytY-1fou.

The one area Walmart isn't cheap is legal counsel. They know how to get rid of you legally and that's through careful documentation-paper trailing, performance plans, and bad annual reviews. Being terminated or laid off as an associate is a process, it always begins with recorded negative feedback and this is why you can't just win an age discrimination suit. They will point to the documentation in your file and get away with it at the end of the day.

I'm in who wants to be the first it will take all of us. It's a discrimination law suit if I ever saw one. How can they give .40 to take a lead position then turn around and take $2.70 when you step down. Sounds like to me that's illegal in it self.

You mean one judge among men who are members of the same elite clubs and associations that the CEO's, Execs, and Shareholders of Walmart are?

One judge who can receive a 7 digit bribe for siding with the corporation?

Oh, how naive you are...
