HCL partnership is for more than Notes and Domino. Several of the Tivoli (now branded under "Cloud") products are also maintained and supported by HCL. Those products are essentially dead with the transition to HCL being the last nail in the coffin. HCL has taken on many IBM legacy sw solutions. The customers are clueless until they try to get support or a commitment for a product roadmap from IBM.
Big changes are coming for IBM customers and employees. You have not seen anything yet.
What I've seen in the Watching IBM FB group is something about cuts in IBM Sales. No one has posted a letter there either. Also there's a "strategic paternership" with HCL for Notes & Domino.

Yep, all corporations are lying to their employees these days.
Did they tell you there'll be no layoffs? There's probably no better guarantee of layoffs than that.
