Changes in IT

Looks like the paisley cio of AAP got his walking papers. Who could figure? The man who could not deliver APEX. The man who force the outsourcing of the CQ call center that independents demanded be brought back. The man who wasn't good enough for family dollar - finally a senior leader who is let go for lack of performance. But the plot thickens - his interim replacement is a major appliance that has run off so much talent. People have actually quit working for this appliance with no new job just to get out of his realm. Talk about melting icebergs.

Good riddance. It's long past time for the one trick pony (cost cutting) to hit the road. His interim replacement, the major appliance brand, can now proceed with running talented people through the spin cycle and then flushing them down the drain.

Talk about "melting icebergs". I know whom this refers to in IT.

Didn't realize that about the CIO. He didn't force the call center to India btw, that was from above. He was told to reduce costs, and this was the result. No one can help that the independents didn't enjoy speaking with people from India instead of the slow people from Roanoke and Raleigh. It happens and is just another part of business.
