Heard the Des Moines, IA CQ DC will be closed in 2018. Area will be serviced by Denver, Lakeville, and KC going forward.

Any word on this? My stores are serviced from the DES DC. Nobody at the DC seems to know either way.

I've heard the Bangor Maine DC is on the hit list .A small dc that does not service the Advance stores,only the changed over JV stores and a very small number of independents.They'll service out of the newer CT dc.
We should have closed that dc years before the sale to advance. The only reason we kept it was to fluff the numbers and our coverage. This dc has always been poorly managed and from the warehouse director down all the employees needed to be replaced with fresh intelligent teammates. Good riddance. Another smart and savvy decision made at the top. Thanks.👍🏾
