I recently saw that one CMO represents both Sears and Kmart. There used to be two. What happened there?

Syw and google should even be compared. However,It could be valuable assuming all the syw partners share data and that's all included in the deal.
Wrong, the data is quite valuable as many people click thru SYW to other stores and then we know their shopping habits, what theyre looking for, etc.
SYW makes more profit than the domestic stores, that's for sure. How do you think Google makes money.....
As someone who works in the data field, I hate to tell you but the data from SYW is essentially worthless. It certainly isn't worth millions, and probably not even hundred's of thousands. that data is for Sears and it's very specific market position and product set. Who else would care? Walmart wouldn't. JCP wouldn't. Other retailers might care about some product specific attributes like how many of what sort of washers sold, but Whirlpool will give them that info for free. Sorry, no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.
I don't understand the whole "conspiracy theory" thing. You get emails saying how many points you have PLUS at any time you can sign in to either Kmart.com or Sears.com and it says exactly how many points you have. It isn't being "hidden" from anyone.
The whole SYW/Free Cash is such a joke now. Mostly due to the fact we can't ask them about the points now. I mean...what's the f---ing point to save these customers money if we can't even encourage them to use it? Oh that's right...because then Sears/Kmart makes less money...SO THEN CANCEL THE WHOLE DAMN THING!!! Oh that's right...if they did they'd stop shopping altogether wouldn't they?

SYW is merely a data collection scheme with little value to consumers.
The data trove will help sell SYW at good value after Sears retail goes down in flames.
Not accurate. The other guy is still at Sears.....he just has a slightly different job with SYW I believe.

Restructure happening. Maybe part of the 1.5 billion dollar cost cutting that is supposed to happen this year. Continuing the transition.
