saw some layoffs today

dept in EnI U.S. based saw 4 people laid off yesterday -- about 100 person dept so 4%.

part of the reduction or whatever uhc is going through

On 09/26/2017, at least 750 people were laid off in the BPQM department. This was multiple types of jobs across multiple platforms.

Did y'all miss where I said it was EnI -- UHC? And not just my dept -- I know other parts of ENI have seen layoffs

Anyway I'm not posting my leadership or department sorry -- I still work here.

But it's across the entire UHC -- we are in a reduction phase, positions are harder to get approved -- I know folks in CnS have also been hit by layoffs.

And I don't think it's over yet, but I don't have any info or anything beyond what leadership said. You can look at these boards -- layoffs are happening these days across all departments

It’s across the board. Duluth was hit hard and it’s mail room and help desk. Quality is being hit and IT has been hit all year. UHC is now being hit and it’s all programs and LOB. This is continuing into 2018. Work for b bruckeman

@Q1MyJcO-qzw - Good crack at assuming. I, for one, don't have any debt. At All. Second, the masterpoint here is that without posting a general area and leadership, it provides no information as to where in this conglomerate the person is. Kind of a big deal if it's say, Optum vs UHC/UHG.. or E&I vs C&S vs M&R. Save your pettiness. all people want is answers, and you're cluttering the feed with your whining. Everyone posting should post a general area and senior leadership that they report up to. Also, Optum has its own site on this board.

What people who fear call anyone who tells them the truth. The fear is in THEM, but they blame others because they are children who have not learned how to handle themselves under stress.

Maybe if you didn't get yourself into things like, oh, I dunno, a 6 year car loan, big mortgage, credit card debt, etc, etc....this wouldn't stress you out so much.

But you did.

If you can't handle the info on this site, don't come here. Telling people to give specifics that COULD identify them is self serving, and if you think management can't figure out who's posting with that info, you must think they're as ignorant as you are.

Unlike you, they have resources at their disposal, like knowing when this was posted, hours of employees, etc.

Stuff someone like you two would never think of, cause you're just not that bright.

Don't reply to requests for specifics like the one below. Many companies HR and management trolls this site trying to find out who's posting about layoffs, so they can punish them.

It's all about hiding and covering up layoffs these days, corporations will do ANYTHING to keep the truth hidden.

Sad, but true.
