Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

In order to get severance

Rather you are told or not in order to get your severance package you have to sign a paper basically stating you won't discuss it with the media blah blah blah. Been there done it in the first round in April. Glad I'm out. S---ed then but take them for every dime you can get and run. They don't care about you, your family, or the members.

It has been 60 days of regular pay, paid as normal on regular pay days. You still accrue pro and benefits. Then after the 60 days you get 2 weeks severance pay for every full year employed at Humana. You may or may not work the 60 days. Sounds like some are just being sent home

Severance is typically 2 weeks for each full year completed.

Maybe because it is open enrollment time. All the cutest TV commercials in the world wouldn't be able to hide the fact they are screwing people over and damage their shiny little image. That's why they hold your severance package as hostage.

Tells you how incredibly desperate they are to hide these layoffs from the public, and they are not alone. This is common these days at corporations.

One has to ask, "Why?"

What's the big secret?
