To raise a question I asked once before, what happens with nurse attrition now? Nurses left en masse when they weren't even targeted after the first lay off round. Now that we are targeted? How does the company plan to actually keep anyone? Pretty much everyone I've talked to that was not impacted says they are leaving after the holidays are over. Congratulations Humana, you've scr**ed the pooch. The program won't be able to handle to mass exodus you've undoubtedly initiated here.

@RNs Hubby, any word? Praying for your family!
well at least if we are laid off in March...we will have our raise for the year since it is given in one lump sum.
I believe that whole "lump sum" promise in January is set to entice and keep the staff. Hold retention. They had their plans set.
The people I’ve heard from that attended the meeting (RN and SS) both layed off and will go home early today. Sad day again .. I’m convinced HAH telephonic is going away.
Best wishes tonyou. Hope your next job is better. Humana is a toxic environment
Just got off the call Jan 2nd is the last day
I want to believe what you are saying. But the reality is, they can throw up a few hiring ads for nurses and they will be flooded with takers. It happened about 15 years ago. Except those nurses and others, woke up one morning and there was an email saying to turn in your computers. I'm not sure if they were even offered a severance package. That's how a lot of nurses have their Humana jobs now ( well until this fiasco). Then, a few years later, Humana's cost shot through the roof and a major hiring of nurses happened to help contain cost. What nurse that has been working on the floor of a hospital, who's legs are tired not give WAH a shot. Most hospitals treat their employs bad. So, It the same thing, different decade, sad, it didn't have to be this way.
My wife is actually on the conference call right now. Awaiting to hear if she will be let go.
Humana seems to be closing this program so may not matter
Came for coaches yesterday RNs today. True news
They want people to leave. It means no pay out. People should still leave - but this is what they want.
