At Optum, they have been laying people off in chunks to avoid certain requirements like reporting and needing to provide people with notice.

It's happening. Social media are making groups listing age, tenure and area.
To Q3LZAsB-4yis, I've thought the same thing. But with really very little in the news or on this site re: the possibly up to 10,000 people we've laid off AFTER they have been let go, I wonder what is in the severance/'separation agreement. Must be very restricted about speaking out.
Someone could easily start age discrimination suit based on what I’ve seen there...
