so does this mean big lay offs at corporate again?

There will be alot more closing that are not announced. Stealth closings if you will. Just like every round of closings there will be a few stores that are closed without being announced.

Also, I think NY and CA have a law that they need to file certain paperwork and other legalities before they can announce a closing so be on the lookout for stores in those states to announce soon.

Popcorn is full of sh--. Quit praising him u fools. He didn’t give anyone a heads up, he saw it this morning same as anyone watching tv did, posted it here, wasn’t even close on the number (off by 20) and there’s more closings that aren’t even on this list (like st Clair shores mi) that started closing last week.

Popcorn has redeemed himself. A lot of people don't believe in popcorn, but he warned days before all the closing went public. So give popcorn credit when its due since a lot of people don't believe in him.

Damn, it seems like the midwest Kmarts are going to be wiped out. Seems like the east coast is going to get shafted as well. Thinking the person saying that it isn't a "list" anymore and more of just rolling closures until all are gone seems to be the case.

Glasgow Kentucky, Nashville Tennessee, Cookeville Tennessee, Frankfort Kentucky, Versailles Kentucky, and Abingdon Virginia. These are the ones in my district.

Only 2 stores reported on here so far , wonder if any sears stores being closed my SGM mentioned there were 400 stores that were not profitable , wonder how far it will go

Probably have to wait a day or two to piece it together from leaked news and local news stories for the communities who will soon be free of KMart and/or Sears.

I haven't seen any news on the closures. Are they holding until a bit later in the day or is this more "stealth" closures going on?

Once again Popcorn was right he called these closing stores days ago. Who is that a--hole that said b---s---? Let hope it was his store.

To early, when my store was announced it was in the morning ralley meeting that was a slap in the face. Good morning everyone thanks for your hard work and years of service, your store starts liquidation tomorrow enjoy thr rest of the day. Then the DM left.
