No you do not get 50% EPP if they let you go. My bill for two IPhones went from 124.00 to 303.00 as a job terminated cell tech for almost 14 yrs.
In my case when VZW yanked my discount they also removed my contract. I subsequently ported out with no ETF. You are responsible for anything owed on device installment.
"Because u could have a contract "
Well, if you are RIFd, within a certain amount of time (30 days?) you are allowed to cancel with no ETF.
For me, going from 50 to 25% was expensive, as they are are calculated on different things. I get 25% off the data, not the individual line fees, so the discount was way more than halved.
If u retired from wireless before July 1 '17, u get the 50%. After July, it'll go to 25%. I'm sure the 0% will come to everyone one day.
Why , you haven’t seen my bill ,
So much for exec saying , that we are all one Verizon but treated differently
Because u could have a contract or because we still have the best network.
Why would you even want to give them your business after you were let go ?
Wireline management gets 50%, wireline employees do not. If you leave Wireless under any circumstance other than retiring or transferring to wireline management, you lose the 50% discount.
If you meet the rule 73 or 75 as of your last day of work. Wireline 22% or 25% Wireless 50%
Wireline does get 50% discount now.
If you retire from wireline “you have the number of years service/age) the wireless discount goes to 25% in each line access
Uncle Lowell stops your wireless discount when you leave. Thanks for your loyalty. Now fu get lost. Makes you proud to feel wanted by Verizon.
if you retire from Wireless you keep the 50%, if you retire from Wireline you get 25% of access line cost only.
If you resign, or are terminated or laid off you will lose all company discounts.
If you retire, there is a guideline that indicates whether you may be permitted to retain your discount.
You lose all discounts.
You loose it reguardless within 30 days of whenever your last day of benefits is.
