Maricopa county in Arizona has a 'trip reduction program' to promote alternative methods to commuting to reduce air pollution. They send a survey every year to employees of companies that are supposed to be "participating". Having just received the email in Phoenix yesterday, I can't wonder what they think of Honeywell now? A lot of us were telecommuting as an effective way to reduce pollution. Obviously, we are not doing so anymore. And obviously, Honeywell doesn't care. :(

Maybe the more people in Phoenix to fill it out, the better. Maricopa county may not realize how many HON employees are now forced to contribute to the valley's pollution since this new policy went in place. The number has to be significant.
What a sh1tshow! If Davee, Darius, and the cronies can't trust me and my manager (we're both over 40) to be big kids and figure out when remote work is the right call, they can pound sand when it comes to the trip reduction survey! I don't give a sh1t! Let them finally be held accountable for their foolish decisions.

Fake news....everybody knows that global warming is made up to sell green products. Diamond Dave invented it about the same time Al Gore was inventing the internet. Add in 20+ year and you have the power of connected unleased. So proud to be part of a software company!!!! Can’t wait to see what HON product development releases next....if only HON, the software company, could invent something that had the power to connect people in geographically dispersed locations in order to collaborate without being physically in the same location.....that would be truly revolutionary.... :)
We can't work from.bwcause we need face to face collaboration. You can't get as much done unless you're sitting in front of or next to someone. This is why we have so many people working in India....oh wait......
If you used to commute you can check the "Telecommute" box as an alternative transportation method that you would use. Hell, check it anyway!
I wonder if they will be fined for increasing pollution? That would be too good.
