Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Why do people say/think HAH will be no more?

Just curious what people think.

Leadership should provide a communication clarifying this. Many associates are worried about the wellness services “not available” and are getting various responses, not all responses on the same page.

A simple email explaining that the benefit grid does not include HAH would be helpful.

Because hah is based on a fluid grid of health status, not a Medicare benefit or addon, it's based on a self fluctuation

Wellness coaching is what, then? Go365 coaching?

Why is HAH not listed and if it has never been listed, why not?

I was told HaH will be there in 2018 but on a much smaller scale.

HAH does indeed get funded by the regions. HAH new program design geared toward increasing ROI for the regions by managing the sickest of the sickest. Members may not be eligible due to their CBA score but could become eligible at a later date with a change in condition.

I agree HAH benefit not offered for 2018 plans (for the plans Ive seen) I’m not saying this is true for all but my team of PHCs have been reviewing and taking note. We are just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together (human nature)! My gut tells me more Lay offs in Jan.

I've looked at several of my mbrs benefits for next yr and have not seen it offered. So its not a rumor. It's not on everyone's plan. I have yet to see it for any of my mbrs even the ones with chronic health conditions. I'd love to know more from the person who said it is been offered because my coworkers and I have yet to see it for 2018.

RIDICULOUS! As long as there is a reasonable RETURN on Investment, HAH will exist.

Do people realize that the investment comes from the Humana REGIONS ( who actually SELL the policies) ? The regions provide funds for HAH. They are demanding a return on that investment and driving the changes in the HAH Model of Care and cost reductions. HAH answers to the regions.
