Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Did Arizona Have massive layoffs this week?

Hearing an absolute bloodbath took place. Anyone have info? Hope it was the useless and clueless IT org or the even worse procurement group....they are the worst I have ever seen in any company I've ever worked.

It may have been several functions but looks like they are trying to keep a lid on it as best they can..

@Q4USqdf-1jmn you probably fall into one of three catagories....a clueless HR idiot providing zero value as most HR people do in any organization, even less at Honeywell. A clueless procurement person doing nothing but slowing down getting anything done, giving an attitude while doing it (overcompensating for low IQ) again providing zero value. An IT person, cluelessly providing a service (at least some value) that's overpriced, overstaffed with incompetents and just not good.

The Op asked a question, so F--- off and let someone answer. Don't take in personally that someone will point out that you and your group s---. the entire company already knows it.

move along.....

J1mn, I am a former employee as of October 1 as I’m one of the ones that got a package due to the working from home fiasco.

Please remember we have a right to be a bit bitter and even angry after giving in my case 37 years of service yet I had an agreement signed by HR, my VP to work from home yet told I needed to drive 2 hours to a honeywell site or be terminated, I took retirement. No matter what my manager wanted to call it.

My job was to transition work out of Honeywell sites globally yet I needed to work at a site that had nothing to do with global transitions.

Yes we are bitter, angry but I have to say, I’m happy as I’m getting 4,200.00 before putting on my boots in the morning.

Keep working hard for all of us getting pensions early due to your ALT making poor decisions.

Thanks from Georgia

Yea, unfortunately the board seems to be regularly visited by former employees, current disgruntled employees, people who have nothing better to do with their time (sad) and/or Russians that seem to just want to "stir the pot" and toss out wild rumors and untruths. The OP "heard" this but doesn't give any details on where how - geez, you gutless wonder, you can be anonymous so when you post at least give truthful details. Doesn't make the site very useful.

Not Aero, PMT HPS. Not HR training, referred to as info sharing session. Probably not furloughs, as it does not include everyone from these functions.

Some of those functions report to corporate and some to Aero so I doubt they have a common meeting. Stop getting people fired up over nothing. Only thing going on is HR training about the new behaviors before the end of the year and HR always has training before the end of each year.

There is a special meeting next Thursday with some (but not all) people from Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, and some other indirect functions. Only US employees, maybe 120 total.
