Received confirmation at a VP Level earlier this week that it will be all areas of Verizon & Verizon Wireless. 10% across the board and possibility deeper in some departments. Also, confirmation it will go down before end-of-year. The 11/16 date I read above certainly seems VERY possible.

Maybe the company should rif some of the vp's that think that the employees should be thinking of rocks and pebbles..
This place is FULL of do-nothings that could be arrested for theft of company services when collecting their paycheck and you all know it.
This place is filled with entitled overpaid managers that get rid of any talent that jeopardizes their position and you all know it.
This place is filled with followers that are content to lay low and creep for the door in safety rather than lead and you all know it.

Heard from reliable mgr. IP tv on hold till middle of next year soooo Lowell wants to thin out the troops.
I don't know why anybody should be surprised by this. Verizon lays off ALL THE TIME. This should not have been unexpected. I know, I worked for Verizon starting out as a Cellular One employee. I have witnessed many layoffs and was laid off myself in November 2015.
Please tell me that the Up to Speed team will not be affected! There is no way in this world I could get through each day without their timely and thought-provoking updates. It takes a lot of work to do those multiple takes in Basking Ridge and lugging that equipment back-and-forth.
