ERP Cloud Layoffs??

Found in another post. Any truth to this?

Netsuite will be ok for awhile. In fact most folks on the ERP side are quickly jumping ship and moving into Netsuite. ERP Cloud is a joke and is nothing but financial deals. There was a plan to throw as many resources at the problem to get customers to implement but it has failed. Now they are looking at major layoffs across all LOB in ERP over the next two quarters to avoid triggering WARN. Apparently Netsuite also pay more.

Unfortunately it’s true. Forecasts made last year did not come true. Sales padded their numbers. We built up teams on this forecast and many of them are without real opportunities to close. Couple that with the sins of our brothers, we are chasing renewals which were engineered financial deals. There is not enough work to distribute to maintain the number of staff. Staff with time on their hands should be updating resumes and actively looking for their next job. Those not carrying a full workload will be th first to go.

Scroll the site there was another post about this exact topic . We are definitely concerned and actively looking. Managers complain about too little staff on other teams and our teams is too much. Peers on my teams complain about being bored and the lack of growth that was promised. The distribution of workload is noticeably different. Thus, the engineered financial deals, the poor implementations and escalations of support and product and it is a no brainer. It is not a matter of IF it is a matter of WHEN a layoff will happen. Staff counts to customer ratios are widely out of sync.
