Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Qcomm legal is done for.

Qualcomm legal team is as dishonest as they get. If Broadcom deal goes through I would think Broadcom would get rid of all of them for hiding thousands of documents in the case Qualcomm still lost after cheating their way through it. Disgraceful and reason QC lawyers have a cesspool for a reputation B.S. and D.R. paid to be deviants.

No, Broadcom is the company that's going to interview you on your fixed point arithmetic capabilities when you beg for job continuity. Better re-learn or polish up those C macros, you're going to need them! Hope you make it.

No ddue, BRCM is the company that's going to eat your lunch, and then fire your sorry a--. Get in line, the soup is getting cold. Time for QCOM sorry a-- entitlement attitude to be replaced with realistic expectations. BRCM front end and 802.11 combo + BT +NFC + GPS beats QCOM any day. QCOM failed RF360 front end is sh-- compared to AVGO's ; server presence is pie-in-the-sky, GOOG, FB don't want to touch it; BRCM has +70% of market share in server farm networking, network processors, fiber, dsl, set-top. QCOM makes a sad 5% margin off it's Snapdragon, from mostly second-hand customers. Fold your sad modem-only sad tails under your asses and face the semi world.

@uzc, you have no idea how much technical contribution Mr. Hock Tan can make. For Hock Tan, if it doesn't make sense financially, somewhere something is wrong, it could be wrong technology, it could be inefficiency, it could be fat-cats, it could be unfair practices, but he would smell that. Things that usually escapes cannot escape from him.

Bcom seems like company that relies on financial engineering to get things done, especially after Hoc took over. If you thought our legal was slimy, Bcom's finance department is going to be even worse.

Broadcom will certainly shut down all ongoing frivolous lawsuits Q is involved in. Time to focus on technology again.

LOL. This site has problems with s-e-x.

Being so far away from your main US customers doesn't make sense.

Move everything away from the senior management in San Diego who can afford to retire early..

...up to the South Bay near Broadcomm's building south of the 237.

I have no love to give my former coworkers.

But, I believe Qualcomm can pick a higher-class suiter than anything connected to Henry Samueli.

Google "Broadcom s-x dungeon"

Dare you.

Isn't Broadcom the company that took a compression patent, changed the math from floating point to fixed, then claimed it as their own invention?

Some would call that treachery that costs extra.
