Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

MASSIVE LAYOFF COMING SOON!!!

many hush-hush hallway conversations confirming massive layoffs coming to the company very soon. The size and scale is unimaginable but the complete failure of cloud and the ERP products has major repercussions that must result in massive layoffs.

Good luck and God bless you all

I think he means that oracle has now perfected software automation to manufacture cloud revenues at will, but doesn’t understand that means oracle doesn’t need employees anymore. Just a computer churning out fictitious cloud revenues. LE’s dream is coming through

Yeah. There's never been a single layoff at Oracle. Oracle is the greatest company in the history of the world. Oracle Cloud is the bestest and fluffiest of all clouds. It's selling like fresh cinnamon rolls.

This site is unreliable. There is no such thing happening in Oracle and its really going big way for cloud.

Keep watching.

So glad to be out of that turd palace, the past year has been so wonderful. It’s like I was dead for 10 years and recalled to life.

I didn't hear any whispers through the grape vines from a friend of a friend's step uncle who heard their grandma going to be affected by this massive layoff.

This site is hit or miss, mostly miss, with the rumors of impending doom and gloom.

give it up ppl, unless there's some more evidence to the postings other than "the sky is falling" crap i've been seeing lately, I wouldn't have heart burn over it. enjoy the resort lifestyle and amenities while you look for a new gig at your leisure.

@Q7t8OXP-uch Since O needs Linux as a part of their cloud build out, you are probably safe.

The only people I heard of in the Solaris layoff who were able to transfer elsewhere in the company were those who jumped into the Linux group, and many were unable to find an open req. I think that transferring to other groups is difficult at best.

Oracle Cloud teams already know that 'cloud' was a failure from the start and have been looking out for openings elsewhere, but for the idiots that are in the cloud team, it is difficult for us to get placed anywhere.
