The case against Bankruptcy

Anybody remember this article:

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4063238-sears-holdings-bankruptcy-filing-expected-july-10-soon

Shld was going bankrupt in July. Sure it is.

Eddie has lined sears almost $2 Billion dollars, how does he get it back if he bankrupts? He doesn’t.

It really is that simple. Keep working hard, keep serving the customer.

We will make it.

The transformation continues.

There is no case against bankruptcy. All you have to do is walk into a store and look at the signage. It is a going out of business sale.

The merchandise also collateralizes the loans. Don’t you worry your precious little heart about Eddie. He will be okay.

-biz they are. Which property is worth anywhere near that? Really. Who wants these mall properties, JC Penney? Wal Mart, Macy’s?

It’s a cute argument but the properties aren’t worth $2 B not even close.

A follow up by the same author with one exception, he ignores his prior comments and finally admits he is short SHLD (after previously saying he had no holdings)

Eddie's loans are collateralized by real estate. If the company does not have the cash to pay him back, he will get the real estate.
