So basically Cisco made less money but more profitably, by cutting headcount. Waiting for Conrad's "you'll want to tune in to this" VOD.

We've been shopped around in the past and will be in the future. I think this rumor comes from the legacy NDS stuff that they have been selling off or stepping away from to be lean. Nothing to really worry about unless you are dead weight.
I don't see how anyone would think that CC isn't a useful asset. Haven't you seen how easily he can cry while "taking responsibility" (without actually taking any, you know, responsibility) for the last big LR?
He's still better than YG ("I'm a feminist, and I'd like to thank all the men who helped me so that I could be one") or IG (about whom I know nothing other than his fingerprints are all over some of our biggest mistakes and nowhere to be seen on anything significant).
TB is just a complete idiot; every time I receive an email from him, I'm amazed he manages to put three words together into a coherent phrase. Whoever his AA is, she (or he) deserves every penny.

Management can't delete posts you plum. I doubt management care about the moans of soon to be ex employees.
I suppose the other thread being deleted does mean that the management do read this so why not give them some constructive suggestions as to how they could have fixed it with letting it get to this stage.
Cisco is certainly not a tech company anymore, but for some reason Wall Street still values us as a tech company. We acquire, market, and sell network & collaboration equipment.
Essentially a Best Buy for IT departments. Nothing of quality is developed at Cisco anymore, everything must be acquired at astronomical prices.
similar thing will happen to viptela!! the cronies of SVP started injecting useless managers to control Viptela Team. The good engineers will go. By the time that SVP will be gone as he is satisfied with whatever he got. The cisco will be looser in the circus.
Often, people on a Cisco binge end up curled into a fetal ball, shuddering and muttering paranoid rants. Nudity and violence may well be involved too.
