Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Seriously please start looking elsewhere

Just take the first step. There is nothing wrong wirh uploading your resume to some job boards and applying for some (I’d be perfect for that role ) jobs. If you get a interview , perfect chance to learn more about other companies... you don’t have to say yes to their offer.

I left the company a few months ago after how I saw bauza organization get laid off the way they did. There were so many good associates let go that had nothing to do with performance. I’ve never been happier with my new company. (Yes I had to move out of state , but the company paid for everything including shipping our cars and plane tickets for my entire family of (6)!

There is life outside of walmart. You all know what is going on, just hasn’t hit you yet. Take the first step and see what’s out there. Besides it takes time...

I check back on this site often because I hate what’s going on down there... I used to have so much love for Walmart as a whole.....

Fitting song to share about Walmart and urging why to leave.

3 people on my team were RIFd in April of this year. That was my eye opener. I updated my resume and put it on 5 different sites. I had an interview in late August with a job offer. I gave my 2 week notice, ended my 'career' at WM after 10 years on a Friday and started my new job on the following Monday. I am euphoric when I get to my new job. No more WM bullsh!t. I am no longer stressed out. I had to adjust to an 8 hour workday with 1/2 hour lunch. No more 9 hour days with an hour lunch. Overtime has to be approved not forced on you . I even got about a 75 cent an hour pay raise. (I am salary and that is based on calculating my salary to an hourly wage.)
