The only reason the stock is above $55 is the Broadcom interest.

Face it, Q is a dog, we'll be lucky to get $70.

Riddle me this. Why does a stock trade at $50 - $55 but everyone thinks it has way more value? It's just talk. No one is putting money where their mouth is except for Hock Tan's Broadcom.

Whoever says $70/share is a good price must be paid to promote their agenda of taking over Qualcomm here. Every financial news reports in the past few days says $70 is a very underestimated value of Qualcomm. Broadcom/Tan is trying to take advantage of Qualcomm-Apple lawsuit.

But there're several comments here to encouraging people to sell at $70 here. Ridiculously amazing!!

Apparently, a lot of trolls and/or Qualcomm haters are here.

Data center is a boondoggle.

Will be a huge write off.

Well, after eating QCOM (if this was ever possible), who will be eaten next by AVGO? Intel? It must be kidding.

Basically, the way Hock Tan makes money is not sustainable. He can pump up stock price, make big money and retire. But, after five years how can thousands of engineers keep their jobs?

If a company give up R&D roadmap, and emphasis heavily on cutting costs and pumping up stock price, the company is literally dead.

As for now, QCOM at least has 5G, IoT, automotive, and data center chip (just announced today), all promising markets.

Hope that PJ, IJ and SM have their balls again at this time and do not give a sh-t to AVGO this cheap Asian company.

most of you qcom guys are idiots and keep whining about the acquisition price. take a look at broadcom stock performance since the merger, we are up 2x since 02/2016. if this deal can happen, try to convert all your qcom share into avgo, you would not regret 12 month after the merger.

Qualcomm continues to deteriorate without Broadcom. Royalty stream continues to get reduced. Wish it were different but $70 with no risk looks real good to me.

Brcm already pushed your stock up 19% in two days, so what’s the complaint about. Q couldn’t do it by itself

Honestly, if I can get $70 a share within 6 months or so, I am fine with it being the end of Qualcomm.
