Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Store commissions coming and confirmed.

Entire districts in TX will move to a new store quota commission structure starting next month. GMs are having their webinars this week with all the details.

If anyone in Texas has more info, please chime in.

Does anyone know if Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook are slated to be piloted? I did hear confirmation from my DP that Stantonville and Gaffney are to be included in the next round, while Intercourse is questionable at best. Let's hope they all make the cut. 2018's looking so bright, we're gonna need sunglasses in retail.

Just to respond to the commenter saying this sounds like a pilot program: so did the training that all the RSS's had to teach management how to do inventory and ops to "give us more time for vacation and less worries"...we were axed in less than 6 months following. I would re-think pilot and think first episode.

This is all good info. You know who would likely want to know that?

The people it might apply to on the wireless board.

After getting on the Retail Transformation I turned in my notice to seek other career opportunities. I see retail locations downsizing Q1.The process they are trying to preach is going to make stores obsolete and create the shopping online experience.

I heard the same thing but was told it won't be further discussed until next week in GM meeting on Tuesday. DM's went over in meeting but it sounds like it won't happen all at once. Hence no longer setting up customers phones. Less work= less pay

Sounds like a pilot program. Nothing to worry about for another 1-3 years probably.
