Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Facts

All is well in the nation, but then why?

Are there more retail closures in 2017 than any year in recorded history?

http://money.cnn.com/2017/10/25/news/economy/store-closings-2017/index.html

And why is the healthcare industry in crisis? With hospitals closing, major corps like Merck and Pfizer laying off tens of thousands, and nurses by the thousands losing their jobs?

Or why are even Colleges and Universities seeing big drops in enrollment after continued increases?

Go ahead, believe the talking head on your idiot box, or some guy regurgitating what the talking head said, or do some research and inform yourself. Yeah, that will take more work than sitting on your A-- in front of the TV but at least you'll know the truth.

Sorry for interrupting your delusion with hard cold facts.

GE seems to be one of the only behemoths that should have been doing well if their hype was real, but it appears to have all been a fraud. You're lucky to have a job at GE... NOT!

If you get enough people to believe your statement, the accuracy is irrelevant. Hence, you hear how everything is great, but observe something very different.

Oh and let me head off the expected talking head regurgitator who says "it's Amazon's fault" for the retail closures. Yes, thats what your talking head said, but the FACT is Online sales in total only account for around 8-9% of total retail sales, and Amazon is only a fraction of that 9%.

2017 wasn't a break out year for online or Amazon, they weren't much less in 2016, 2015, or 2014. So, retail isn't collapsing because of them.
