I got an offer from Intel and Nvidia this week for the Santa Clara locations. Should I take the Intel offer as I hear the management is kinder and gentler than Nvidia and had a good pulse on the industry.
But I have also heard bad things about them on this forum.
What should I do ?
Depends on the Division, I would be cautious of the IOT, NTG, CCG. Aipg/ Adg are good bets and would do well. iCDG has been flooded with QC folks en masse and is a disaster waiting to happen in terms of changing culture and the resentment building up. Since Raja is the new head of most core and grafix engg...they would be a state of flux and he would want to bring outsiders en masse to change the Intel culture and it might be good for new hires. NVidia is the real engineering environment with better future.
Intel is a joke on a downhill path with very low quality employees and still small percentage a good ones hanging on a hope of potentials which never materialize.
That’s easy, if you like hanging out with triggered angry cynical people then take HPE. If you want to work with real humans and a growing company go to Nvidia
Take Nvidia , Intel is a wretched hive of scum and villainy .
If you are a real engineer, go to Nvidia.
Depends on your style.
If your a fake backstabbing political type with no actual skills other than stealing things and ideas, you will be upper Intel management with 2 years.
If your more of the honest very skilled in your field type, go with Nvidia.

Simple decision. Nvidia has a bright future for many years. Intel does not.
