When's the last time anybody saw a pay raise? All I've seen is the board of directors passing out stock to each other all year like they're Santa Claus. At the same time everybody's hours have been cut in the stores lowering our paychecks. This company cares nothing about its employees. They just want to make sure up top they get all the profits. And the DM'S are not going to stand up for their employees because all of them have no balls. They are simply a bunch of YES MEN!

I got 18 cent last year which isn't even a cost of living increase, why could't they round it up to 20 cent that's just being cheep. The whole company is cheep even the parts.
And yet there's enough money for the Women's Club to host bake sales.

Having worked for this company for several years I agree, the pay is horrible for everything they expect. Advance wants Mechanic level employees yet want to pay minimum wage. The customers including shops do not want to deal with moron counter help and uneducated management. This company is so far behind the competition it does not surprise me that they are failing.
I couldnt agree more with whats been said here. I have fought over and over to get our stores productive employees an increase over minimum wage. Same story every year. Excuses, delays and we lose that employee. Employees that beat their sales goals by 15k, 25k, and they dont get a freakin dime. It doesnt have to be like this. Would like to stick the U.P.T. up somebody's A--.
I am GM and I got one of my closing night managers a raise from $9.25 up to $10.00 around Halloween. Didn't have to much pushback. They didn't want to do it but I held my ground with the DM and they gave in. You've got to fight for everything you get, nothing is just handed out anymore. I love my store, I love my crew, but I cant stand this freakin company anymore and I will fight for my guys tooth and nail for every raise I can get them. You literally have to force this company to do the right thing.
This is one of the many reasons why the employees no longer trust this company and are leaving like rats on a sinking ship. Walfart and Mcdees pay their employees better then Advance.
