This is the first time ever that its looking like I wont get a check. I have 4 kids and a stay at home wife and this is stressing us to the core. I need 68 more contracts to be at a 1.0 really worried rep thanks for your feedback.

Get out while you can. Worked for Verizon for 13 years. Can't believe I did it for that long. My stress level is so much lower now and I'm in sales with a competitor. Terrible company to work for.
Just hit a 1.0 compared to a 2.8 last year. We average about 15 in store pick ups a day. Have yet to see us get paid for them. Just got a part time job to make ends meet.
Wait til lowell comes in my store. I bet he smells like a seasoned citizen.

It’s not about being ok making 61k a year. It’s along the lines of doing double or triple the work and making less and less.
Don’t know we we have so many defenders of Verizon. You guys will go into shock once you actually work for a real company that takes care of their employees and doesn’t jerk them around.

Do you people have any idea how many families would love to “only make 61k” a year? What a bunch of entitled @ss holes. How about spending less than you earn.....not more! That’s why the government is in debt.
This is why I'm leaving. Last year I made 70k. This year I'll make 61k. I'm usually hitting a 1.2-1.6. checks ranged from 1900-3600 accessing 2400. My worst month on record was November 2015 when I barely cleared 1300. This year I've made less than 1400 6 months. November i didnt break 1k gross. It took me a few months to find a better job. I'm glad I left, I don't think if even hit quota in December, with adjustments I might though.
These past 3 months have been a real struggle. This month i will barely be breaking a commission check. As a single mother of 3 and it being Christmas time, i will for once be struggling to make ends meet. As someone commented in the posts below, many of us will be lining up for payday loans in order to provide a good Christmas to our families and that will be myself this year. In the meanwhile top hat execs are piling in the money while we work our butts off to clear a paycheck 45 to 50 hrs a week.
I am also a top rep (top 100) in the enterprise out of south centeral market. Verizon is making it difficult to make a paycheck, last year I made over 6k in comission in Dec this year I am pacing a 2k paycheck. Talk about unfair and rediculous goals. I have been with the company for 7 plus years and have to say the business is changing for the worst for employees. Will be finding new opportunities once the new year starts.
The whole Verizon commission structure is outdated and unfair. The quota system alone can by raised or lowered at any time by management. When you look at month to month quota there is no way to figure how they come up with these numbers. They most probably throw out a number and don't take in factors like Market Saturation.
I'm a top 80 rep on president cabinet. Average almost 200% to quota a month and I barely have a check as of today...I'm on Pace to barely hit quota in South Central market
You do realize how stupid that concept is right? You shouldnt have to hit any percentage to make a check.
Did you sell something? If the answer is yes you should get commission for it. This sell a percentage crap is exactly that crap. Are you gonna tell me if you sell 49% you deserve nothing?
Broken system is broken.
To get a check you only have to hit 50% of your total quota. So you are saying you are not even going to sell half of your quota?
I have 6 working days left before Christmas to get 26 new lines and 65 upgrades and 7000 sales dollars lol that’s 4 new 10 upgrades a day with promos that require unlimited so 70% of our customers don’t qualify lol. Yikes. At best reps will hit a 1.0.
I generate commission checks every month good ones too, but then again I don’t work for Verizon anymore.

My commission joke this month is a joke I made $5,600 last December this year I am pacing to do 1600 that’s 4K less then last year and doing double the work I did last year. Managers are freaking out stressing out and taking the anger out on reps and making us push Hums down peoples throat.
Commission checks will soon be a thing of the past, and for many, they already are.
there is a real possibility that you will not be getting a commission check for december because after the 24th traffic dies off and is just xmas returns. Start planning now if that means taking a payday loan you gotta do what you gotta do we wont judge you.
