Your DM is such a tool LOL. I can't believe he actually thinks Eddie is actually making Kmarts better. I mean its going to be sad if in his area majority if not all the Kmarts closed as rumored on February and maybe he will be left without a job.

We are all winning. Drink more kool-aid it will help after the big closures planned next year. We will all have a chair on the Titanic. Even eddie in his plush bedroom on it. He will survive as he has a lifeboat waiting for him. He said we are fighting like like hell to survive. True.

Overdone much? That sort of comment might only seem appropriate and genuine if, say, Kmart's profits this year had increased tenfold by some kind of magic.

I have to wonder if some of these DMs and other executives know that they have no actual skill-sets that would be useful outside of this dysfunctional company, not to mention bearing the stigma of having been largely the ones responsible for its collapse, and are laying down the sycophancy so hard in the hopes that EL will notice them and take them along on whatever his next doomed venture is, rather than face the prospect of having to take some lesser position.

As a Kmart employee, I would assume that sales consultants at a Sears store do absolutely nothing all day, except for posting ridiculous Pebble posts about religion, politics, and other debate-inciting garbage.

How about you get off your butt and move some mattresses instead of evangelizing the employees of SHC. I'm surprised corporate hasn't used Pebble as a tool to find out who the least productive employees are, since they are obviously spending more time on the computer than working with customers (however few) that may be in the store.

Pebble is such a swirl of incompetency. So many employees who do not keep up on current affairs nor pay attention to the reality of this situation. Heck, from their inane posts, you can tell they do not bother to read the supporting documents for sales, finance programs or just even a weekly POG!

Rather than stressing CRs, try stressing becoming self-educated in regard to your specific position.

Hello, people: our vendor issues are creating a clusterfudge of disgruntled customers, cancellations and negative commissions.

Attention mattress salespeople (not in the northeast): STOP trying to sell frames and furniture! It’s a lost cause. And puh-lease just thoroughly READ all of the finance info you have and you will grasp it. Stop posting questions that are addressed in the literature.

@wqz; If that's him, then he's not in the SE region, he's up in the PA/NJ/DE area. He's every bit as obnoxious on conference calls or during store visits as this message and his similar emails would lead you to believe. From what I understand, he was once a regional manager but got demoted to district manager. From his behavior, I would imagine he's never worked a day in his life on the ground level of retail.

The billion dollar question is when he gets home after a long day of touring his sh-- stores does he actually believe the bs he posts everyday on how great everything is.

That's hilarious. The same DM who posted this, also had 'serious concerns' about the gap elimination project and was wondering when merchandise was coming in, as he had finally realized it makes certain departments too lean.

I thought he was finally seeing the light. Guess not.

If anyone would like to know who this is and look at all his ridiculous posts without giving his name he is a riddle. Who wrote Romeo and Juliet? Last Name? Have fun.

Very true. I posted a comment they didn't like and our regional H/R called the store and had the store manager talk with me. They can't handle the truth!!!

Ugh, that looks like the punctuation structure my DM has. We're not in the SE, but he uses just about that many exclamation points, perhaps more, at the end of literally every sentence in any given email. He'll also forget to use question marks where he is asking a question, or use them where he is not. It's like they all think if they try to channel Trump, they'll somehow look more intelligent or competent, and they're not at all aware that it does the exact opposite for them.

Pebble is one big circle jerk. If you don't believe it, just try placing a negative comment on it and watch what happens.
