Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

More cuts and closures coming in early 2018

So, it seems another 357 employees will be laid off in March when the Niketown Midtown store is closed. That seems to be only the beginning.

Nike seems determined to solve its problems through closures and layoffs, instead of getting to the bottom of the issue and trying to turn things around. But why even bother when there are so many peons to let go off first for that temporary bump in profits?

Heard that a few Nike warehouse close but found positions for people. Maybe they do more with third party logistics companies.
