Another example of Chevron and partners over estimating the abilities of Australian laborers to fit pipes,etc. Gorgon project suffered from too few expats overseeing the basic work.
2odr - I could not agree more, perhaps 2rjq believe they are the site moderator/owner and do appreciate their insightful post.
It is a good post as these mishaps are usually "contained". The whole Gorgon/Wheatstone saga has been shameful to say the least and hopefully the LT for the ABU take some responsibility (LMAO). The Australian tax payers put good money towards these projects and in return Chevron does not pay the tax due and does not perform as advertised. This should also jeopardise meeting the Paris agreement targets. Once again the ABU leadership and employees can be proud of their achievements.
