Of course they will now focus on "entitlement" "reform". They compete with the corporate welfare machine. They deserve everything, right?
BTW it chaps my a$$ when Social Security is identified as an "entitlement". We pay into that our whole working lives and is not "free money". Sure it's a shell-game but it works and would anyone rely on Wall St to manage our money in "good faith"? They already recently got rid of much oversight by the CFPB of "good faith" and trutfulness in collecting & managing your investments. Now why would they need to do that?
Tax cut for the wealthy again.....yes they threw us a bone for 6 years but now they are focusing on entitlement reform...that means medicare and SS reductions....the Oligarcks are running the country.

Honeywell paid an effective US tax rate of 1% over the period from 2009-2012. I'm not sure of the numbers since then. The nominal corporate rate means nothing. I don't know how the new law effects their tax avoidance strategies. It's fanciful to think any savings would trickle down to US employees in the form of merit increases, bonuses, or other benefits. Lower-wage labor pools in foreign countries will share the benefit, along with shareholders and executives. Same old story for quite some time. At least people aren't afraid to openly call out management for this b---s--- anymore.

Dumb A$$ ALT will NEVER do anything positive for US workers. Only more outsourceing, RIFs, and furloughs. They'll pocket the extra $ for themselves. If it were up to me NO American corporation would get a freaking dime if they outsource jobs.
