Get experience and get out. This company has no direction. I've worked with field engineers that were happy sitting a rig and once they were pulled into LCO their morale and attitude went south and fast. This place does not care about its talented employees.

I have watched alot of great talent and experience get S**T canned only because they were more knowledgable then most upper management. You cannot drill a well from a book you received in college. That well will dictate what it wants and if you understand AV Calcs then you can save the well and treat the wellbore with the correct parameters, pressures and mud weights. I personally helped out with over 4 or 5 dozen sidetracks over a 6 year period. All because someone did not know how Inc. And Azm effects your wellbore. When u can do an open hole sidetrack off of a severe dog leg then there is an issue.

Let's drill as fast as you can and not do short trips or cleanup cycles as per standard drilling practices. Maybe if they listened to the foreman in the field then they can bounce casing on bottom and have a good production zone to POP.

You will HAVE to carry a bag for investor relations or the CEO in order to get anywhere.

Invest in high dollar knee pads. Something comfy but protective. You will want a set that you can keep on while fluffing clueless bobble head managers. There are many on every floor so get something that will not restrict mobility.
