Intel ramping up hiring (just not in the US)

See for yourself at jobs.intel.com

Reqs in India, Malaysia, China, even Germany, Poland and Israel have nearly doubled in the past few weeks.

You still think your jobs in the US are safe? Still think Trump's tax cuts will save you?

There are still job openings in the US. Just not as many as overseas. Banggalore alone has almost 600 reqs currently open.

Two fun data points (and I'll post more):

  • One job that stood out: JR0048759 - VP/Director, Global Data Center & Enterprise Marketing Strategy

  • When you drill down one level on any job category, the pop-up Glassdoor graphic on the right says: Current Fab Engineer in Chandler, AZ (US) – Reviewed 20 Jun 2008

@yfz - Spot on! Investment in education has been gutted by this administration, and fewer and fewer Americans are entering STEM fields. Check any top tier engineering program, huge numbers of international students flooding them.

Jobs in the US can only be made safe by investing in education, not by fiddling with tax rates, restricting immigration or any other magic wands that Republicans like to wave around.
