Future of QCA after acquisition by Broadcom

What will be the future of QCA if the acquisition goes through? Will that group be fired since it's in direct competition with current Broadcom products?

QCA will be spun off as an independent company under the exquisite leadership of Rahul given the successful execution on next gen Wi-Fi.

Regulators will force QCA to be sold. Someone will buy up the assets. Some % will get layoffs. The majority will still have jobs.

Hock tan does not care about talent. He will shut QCA down. Probably the folks working for qca in Bay Area are not technically sound since there are bunch of high paying opportunities in Bay Area.

@ahp Yes, we are more worried about people getting fired than about whether or not lazy slackers like you get to WFH or not.

Maybe they will fire current BRCM employees if the QCA product line is better.

QCA has 1500 people. Hock Tan may try to keep some key talents and fire rest of them because he may not like to sell the whole division to any potential competition.
