Now that the corporate tax rate is going to be lowered to 21%, does that mean that Verizon can start employing people in the USA instead of setting up tax havens in countries like Ireland and other International locations? Other than taxes, why would we ever want to open offices where we have no or a minimal presence. That’s sort of dopey and the practice seems questionable at best.

If all I ever watched was CNN and my local-news I would think President Trump is terrible too... He's not perfect but he's not as bad as the people that "despise" him will tell you. I'm not anti-CNN... It may be a bitter pill for half the country to swallow but watch/read some conservative news outlets in addition to CNN/local-news, you may then be able to see just how bias can distort reality positively and negatively. Every person in the world will have an opinion but the question is what sources are those opinions based on? Not too mention the outcome of lining up a bunch of people and playing "The Telephone Game"... I like to see multiple perspectives, even from those that may have different political views. If people refused to hear or listen to opposing views nothing would ever change... Seek first to understand... You may find that the world isn't as bad of a place as others would like you to believe... What would happen if the only place you could get an opinion about the future of Verizon was from your immediate supervisor? Or how some new initiative will impact you?
