AT&T give $1000 bonus but layoff before Christmas
Vz will use all that extra$$ to pay down their super large debt,and give their excutives big raises,and your going to get NOTHING cause that how VZ operate they dont care about their workers bottom line,
VZ is going to use the tax break for stock buybacks and the dividend. If you think you’re going to see any of it through an EISP or better contract, your on glue.
I don’t think they perfected it yet. They are still having problems with 911,credit card transactions, etc. That’s why they are investing some money in fios.
And they want to. Oh do they want to.
Wireless internet coming next year. Who needs techs anymore?
It’s in our contract that the company can offer one enhanced eisp per year. They don’t have to, but they can if they want to....no contract violation if they do.
By the time the contract is up, everyone will have forgotten about the tax break and the other companies giving a bonus of $1000.

This super eisp rumor is bull sh--. We have a contract the company must abide by but as far as the hugh tax cut they got they better take dam good care of as at contract time. If not the public will see how greedy this company really is.
Hopefully people post info on here that they know to be true, or at least a rumor they heard...but I’d guess more than 50% of what is posted are from people that are just trolling. I do hope the rumor is true but I have doubts.

What area in NJ did the union mention this....north or south?
Too early to know but here in NJ we were advised its all of us.. Which doesnt surprise me since they've been trying to downsize or eliminate us since hurricane sandy. Many of us will take it gladly its a cesspool comimg in here anymore

This is a HUGE rumor in our garage this morning, started by the union steward. Allegedly the bonus that all the other companies are getting are not coming our way (unless the super isp is accepted, and the bonuses will be split amongst all those who accept).
THIS IS ONLY FOR LANDLINE UNION EMPLOYEES, as wireless employees will get screwed once again by the company.
This is BIG news and proves lowell is not greedy as once thought.
