No answers and continued spin

Strategy work never ends. Way keeps shaking the Magic 8-ball asking it what to do. He restarts strategy work over when he gets the "Don't count on it" and "Cannot predict now" responses. Really, how many times and how many weeks does 5 need to spend on this crap? Keep networking and looking for opportunities! I am and know we are going in a circle at best as we continue our slow death spiral.

Think about it - we can't issue debt to buy anything, we pay over $200 mil per year in interest, can't issue equity because it's already in the toilet, can't sell an asset for very much and vast majority of existing assets do not work at below $3 prices (maybe enough to keep a rig busy in NE PA and WV for a year). Two rigs worth of drilling can't produce enough cash to overcome our interest and G&A. By the way, the 1.3 PVI does NOT include any interest or G&A. Keep that in mind when you hear him babbling about all the wells we have at 1.3 PVI. Don't believe it. What solution has Way provided to us? Be energetic? Use a lot of adjectives when we talk about action? Know your passion? Magic 8-ball is his source!

Last two posts must have been by Way or JMc (very Trump-like) in blaming the previous administration for everything! Way is prone to blaming, but that doesn’t matter. How he and his leadership team performs is what matters and the results over the last two years is pretty bad - shareholder value down 45% since he became CEO. The Board approved the WV acquisition- arguably a bad decision in hindsight. What are they doing by continuing to support Way in the face of tremendous shareholder value destruction when other O&G companies have been rebounding over the last six months per recent post.

I feel sorry for the young people at SWN. They are victims of a terrible disservice by management in promoting them too early, giving them jobs that they’re not qualified for! This all goes back to Harold Korrel giving a super unqualified person, Steve Mueller, the keys to a shiny new car he had no clue on how to drive! Mueller and his henchmen, Joanne Hresko and Jeff Sherrick, drove a good company into this pitiful shell it is today. And, Sherrick was able to walk away with a cool 1.5 million dollars for doing the CHK deal which left SWN with a debt load they will never be able to repay. Mueller, Hresko and especially Sherrick need to be in jail!!

Look out below - the extreme cold snap gave gas and SWN a pop for a few days. Weather maps moving back to normal or above normal for next few months. Gas down big to the $2.70 area. Not helpful for a broken company.

Gas Prices

"We continue to drop, prices have fallen nearly 20% since November 10

January contract expires today and stood at just $2.64 per MMBtu as of yesterday (prices this morning are now up to $2.73)

Remember, last year January contract expired at $3.93

These are the lowest numbers we have seen since February, and there is no $3 gas on the board until January 2021"

So how do we spin this?

I left in the last year. It is eye opening the low regard that the industry holds for Way and SWN. Outside SWN, it is no secret that he has no idea what he is doing. Good luck.

Real price and differentials which must be used in SEC case should look grim. Hope creativity 8n presentations not the $3/$3.50/$4 stuff. Keep networking and contact equity players that have lean, focused start-ups. There are jobs to be found.
