Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bonuses?

So just saw this online. http://www.businessinsider.com/bank-of-america-gives-145-million-in-bonuses-following-tax-plan-2017-12

What the hell does this mean? In the past I have gotten significantly more than $1000.00. Bonuses are not guaranteed, but if you don’t get one you should start looking.

The "Cheeto in Chief" is a million times better than the empty suit that was their prior.

Let's slash your benefits and bonus. Generate a constant climate of fear on layoffs. Then give you a derisory $500 or so in your take-home. Whoop-de-effing-do!

The BAC bean-counters don't realize how damned insulting this move is. They should have simply given double or treble the amount to folks earning under $50k.

Seems like a very positive thing, especially for those on the frontlines (such as tellers).

Lots of big companies did this after Cheeto in Chief signed new Tax Bill. Nothing to do with your PIP in February.

I wonder if all of our H-1B employees get this.

Roughly 145K BofA employees making $150K or less will receive a $1K bonus prior to year-end, according to the reports.

This is an EXTRA non-performance bonus. Corps have to do this when profits are extremely good to keep the proletariat occupied.
