Spring is usually best time to sell. I’m waiting for work to stabilize before I buy again. I don’t mind renting now. Sure it’s money out the window but I’ve completely eliminated the risk of having a house payment and no job. Also CA law requires breaking lease if you have to move out of area for new job if it’s not your fault. Zero Risk!!!
That link to your house on been.com looks good. I'm thinking of hedging my CIC to buy it or something similar for a rental investment.
I am renting now and waiting for prices to come down to buy
If Qualcomm axes me... I'd gladly leave
Translation??
good decision. be wiser next time and dont mistake the heavy pay check as real and buy pricey real estate, it is for planning long term. the heavier the pay check the more vulnerable the job to cost cuts..
lesson learnt is more important then job loss...cheerio
I didn't list it on the MLS yet. Trying this new online service first. You can find the listing there.

Don’t put it on MLS. I will ask my agent to contact you. Will give you more than your asking price. The SD housing market is going nowhere.
I think we dodged a bullet!! Considering 90% are on visas and renting, no real impact to housing market.
Perhaps rent will slow from increasing 20% yoy to 15, no big deal.
You know what never peaks?
RENT
Why? Prices will peak in Summer irrespective of Q's fate
Thanks! Keep paying my mortgage for me!
I sold all real estate in San Diego. Renting now until work stabilizes. Lots of jobs elsewhere so I am ready to go if I get the axe.
I thought you rented in Mira Mesa?
