Layoffs during the end of Q4 is a normal annual ritual in Dell. No prizes for guessing if it is going to be any different this year Jan. This year will be all the more crucial for Dell to reduce non performing liabilities as they have done poorly especially in Storage.
Exactly what @QQsH3We-1omz said. If you are not preparing to possibly be affected in January, then you haven't been paying attention. Not only will we have layoffs, they'll be major ones.
if you think the super techies are the only problem, who is the one being fooled here? execs are either stupider than your little 7 year-old brother, or they are fully aware of hiring and keeping leaders with motorboat mouths and debatable IQs.
Hello. Two super techies and two useless directors of BDC storage have become so famous in Dell that they are now being considered for platinum award for leadership inspired layoffs.
It beats me really.. How can these two super techies even carry on with their white lies without being exposed. .. They have meagre technical skills and the whole team knows about it.. But still they manage top management and fool them.. The way these two hollow people act sophisticated is a case study by itself..
It is an unfortunate state of affairs in BDC storage. They laid off the useless director in the sep Oct layoff cycle. But the equally useless directors and the two useless super techies are still around with their same old usual tricks. Just don't understand how these people are still in the system harassing hardworking and talented engineers doing politics.

since EMC Dell merged then layoffs by layoffs, my manager never once reassures us, she is only thinking about herself, making herself looks good and useful to the higher management while keeping quiet of our achievements, only selling those that points back to her. Now one year later, pretty sure we have collected enough invisible jobs that will ruin her when she fires us to save herself.
There is nothing fake about this. the lists are all in place for the q4 layoff. the planning is over and execution is pending two more weeks.
